Meet Cindy-Joy Rosado, RMHCI

“Healed people heal people.” I hold this dearly in my heart. It is the notion that brokenness is not a fixed state, but a jumping off point for greater things. It is the belief that what was once in pieces can still be built into something strong and beautiful. My passion is to serve populations that are marginalized, underserved, or merely unseen, such as those of diverse cultural backgrounds and social identities, those who have experienced trauma and/or abuse, or anyone who is having trouble navigating life’s turbulence. I aim to provide a safe space for you to feel comfortable and empowered in your vulnerability.

Approach and education

My approach is holistic and eclectic as it takes into account the complexities of being human and does not assume one size fits all. Each person is as unique as their experiences, therefore I lean on EMDR and variations of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, such as trauma-informed and mindfulness-based, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Culturally Sensitive Therapy.

“It’s when we start working together that the real healing takes place.”
