Meet Vanessa Graff, LMHC, LPC
Each individual has unique needs and strengths and I integrate those abilities and uniqueness into the therapeutic process and treatment plan.
I believe that many of us have the necessary tools to live full and healthy lives and it is my mission to assist my clients in finding their own strength in this journey.
Approach and education
My therapeutic approach is greatly influenced by Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, trauma recovery and psychoeducation. I received my Masters of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University as well as a Post Masters Graduate Certificate in Child and Adolescent Disorders. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington, Oregon and Hawaii.
“Changing the memories that form the way we see ourselves also changes the way we view others. Therefore, our relationships, job performance, what we are willing to do or are able to resist, all move in a positive direction.”
— Francine Shapiro, developer of EMDR
