Amanda Stoyanovitch, LMFTA

Meet Amanda Stoyanovitch, LMFTA

My passion is to help individuals, couples and families through challenges to heal and thrive. I believe in holding an inclusive space where your individuality and unique experiences are embraced. I strive to maintain a curious and collaborative attitude while I walk alongside you as you step into your own empowerment.

My therapeutic approach is founded in solution focused therapy and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and meditation. My love of art, nature, yoga, travel and nutrition also influences my approach. During and after my undergraduate studies I spent several years living in and traveling through five of the seven continents. These experiences helped me to gain an open-minded perspective about people and cultures and deeper empathy around the nature of suffering. In my free time, you will often find me hiking with my husband, camping, beaching, cooking and painting.

Approach and education

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at Albion College and my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University. My clients would describe me as patient, compassionate and playful. My approach is holistic and solution-oriented drawing from attachment theory and somatic techniques.
