Alyssa Duesler
Change can be difficult but I am here to provide the extra support, knowledge, and tools to help you achieve your goals. In my therapeutic approach I will meet you where you are at and we can take the journey toward wellness together.
Meet Alyssa Duesler, LMHCA
I have extensive experience treating individuals in crisis and substance abuse treatment settings and spent a large part of my career working with incarcerated individuals on the path to recovery, preparing for the transition back into their communities. During that time, I experienced first-hand the impact that our mental health can have on our overall wellbeing and am dedicated to helping you find peace and confidence in all areas of life.
My therapeutic approach is greatly influenced by Cognitive & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-based therapy, EMDR, and psychoeducation. I received my B.S in Psychology from Utica University and Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University.
“Just because no one else can health or do your inner work for you doesn’t mean you can, should or need to do it alone.”
