Meet Megan Reily, LCSW
Hi there, I’m Megan.
Do you feel lost in life? Do you ever feel unseen or unheard by other people around you? Is it difficult for you to express your feelings and needs? We all need support sometimes and I would love to be the person to help move you towards your ideal life. I believe that everyone can find a place of self-actualization no matter where they start. My approach is to work collaboratively with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, psychosis, and other challenges to reach their personal goals. I provide an open, safe, non-judgmental environment to work on challenges and I want to give and receive direct and honest feedback to create a treatment that works best for you. It takes great courage to reach out for help and I am happy to be there with you on your path toward personal wellbeing.
Approach and education
I like to utilize mindfulness skills such as meditation, breathing techniques, and coloring/drawing. I enjoy incorporating journaling elements as well. I like to incorporate elements of EMDR, CBT and DBT into therapeutic practice as they help you understand the connection between thoughts, behavior, and emotion, support healthy communication, and recognize unhelpful patterns. I like to explore all of these methods with you to find what works best as I know one size does not fit all.
