Dana Spychalski, Intern

Meet Dana Spychalski, Intern
I am a dedicated therapy intern with a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate the complexities of trauma in a compassionate and healing environment. With a person-centered approach, I create a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore and process their traumatic experiences at their own pace.
Trauma can deeply impact one’s sense of self and the world around them. I believe that, through empathy, active listening, and unconditional positive regard, clients have the capacity to heal and reclaim their lives. By fostering a trusting relationship, I work alongside clients to support their journey toward resilience, empowerment, and recovery.
Currently pursuing my internship under experienced professionals, I focus on providing trauma-informed care that respects each person’s unique narrative, while integrating the principles of person-centered therapy to promote emotional safety and growth. My goal is to help clients understand the effects of trauma, develop coping strategies, and ultimately rediscover their inner strength and sense of agency.

“The mind is everything. What you think, you become.”
