Amie Gigliotti, Intern
Meet Amie Gigliotti, Intern
Hello and welcome, I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Amie, and I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern. I moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2023 and quickly fell in love with the natural beauty, the changing seasons, and the sense of calm that comes with being surrounded by nature. Outside of counseling, I enjoy going on walks with my sweet dog, Blue, and expressing creativity through clay, acrylic painting, drawing, and even fun nail art.
I work with teens and adults and view therapy as a shared process where we slow things down and make sense of what you’re experiencing in a way that feels manageable. My goal is to create a space where you can exhale, feel less alone in what you’re carrying, and begin to understand yourself with more clarity and compassion. I believe each person brings their own strengths, lived experiences, and capacity for growth, and I’m here to support you as you explore these challenges at a pace that feels right for you.
My areas of interest include anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity exploration, and substance use. As a CADC-II and QMHA in Oregon, I have experience supporting individuals navigating substance use and recovery, approaching this work with compassion and respect for
each person’s unique path. My approach is person-centered and strengths-based, and I also gently incorporate awareness of the mind-body connection. This might look like noticing physical sensations, tuning into what your body is holding, and connecting with the different sides of yourself—your emotions, thoughts, and inner experiences—to better understand how they show up both emotionally and physically.
