Meet Keelin Dyer, LMHCA

Hello! My name is Keelin, and I am so grateful you are here.

Do you struggle with feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you? Sometimes these patterns show up as people-pleasing, masking, intense internal reactions, perfectionism, difficulty resting or slowing down, low self-worth, ruminating thoughts, a loud inner critic, disconnection from yourself, or challenges in relationships with others.

My approach focuses on identifying the roots of the patterns that show up for you, creating a deeper understanding of yourself and making space for meaningful change. Therapy with me is more than problem-solving. It focuses on exploring the deeper experiential and relational aspects of healing.

Therapy with me is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. While I may gently challenge patterns that no longer serve you, I believe healing happens within a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. I enjoy working with adults navigating trauma or complex trauma, highly sensitive people, people-pleasers, those struggling with perfectionism or anxiety, neurodivergent folks, and those healing from difficult family dynamics.

“There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t.”

— John Green

My Approach

I often utilize somatic, body-based approaches in therapy. Somatic therapy looks beyond the impact trauma has on the mind and explores the ways it is held in the body. This means I may gently invite attention to physical sensations, activation, and the ways our bodies communicate with us. I approach this work slowly and thoughtfully, ensuring I am meeting you where you feel comfortable.

I also utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and parts work stemming from the Internal Family Systems model. Through these approaches, we can reprocess traumatic memories and better understand the protective patterns and emotional experiences that shape your life. By integrating somatic approaches, EMDR, parts work, and attachment-based interventions, I strive to help you increase your sense of internal safety, navigate emotions more effectively, and build more secure and fulfilling connections with yourself and others.

I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and a certified Somatic Foundations Practitioner.

If you feel ready to explore yourself more deeply and seek meaningful change, I would be honored to support you.
